Well what can say? Fantastic!!!!!!

We secured our first league win at home to Teddington with a display of good football that had everyone watching delighted. This result had been coming for a few weeks now and it is a testament to the attitude and commitment all the squad have shown since Christmas. Well done you should be very proud of yourselves.

The first half was an even affair but we were playing into the wind and still managed to go into the half-time break 1-0 up after Nathan scored. Sam pulled off some great saves to ensure we led at the break.

The second half saw us play some lovely football at times and it was a joy to watch. This was made possible because everyone worked their socks off and won their own personal battles all over the pitch. Matt scored two goals, Charlie scored at the far post from a corner after his manager advised him to position himself there! and Robert rounded off things with a brilliant volley. It was tough to pick a man of the match because I wanted to award it to you all but I am going to single out Alex who was immense winning all his tackles and passing the ball well.

Lets build on this further and get some more positive results for the remainder of this season.
